A course of interactive self-access materials designed to support the acquisition of reading skills in Ukrainian. The materials allow students to consolidate topics learnt in a Ukrainian reading course or the reading component of a general course in Ukrainian.

The Flexi-Pack Project
The SOAS-UCL CETL in ‘Languages of the Wider World’ (LWW CETL) aims to promote excellence in the teaching and learning of languages that do not have a large presence in UK Higher Education but which are of increasing strategic importance, locally and globally. A key objective of the CETL is to support blended language learning (i.e. using face-to-face and multimedia approaches).

Language Exchange
The SOAS-UCL Language Exchange is a free educational community for students of languages. It aims to give students the opportunity to practise communicating with first language or very proficient speakers of the language they are learning.
 
Indonesian Listening Materials
A collaboration between the SOAS Department of South East Asian studies and LWW CETL, this site contains a large number of specially written and recorded listening materials to be used by students of all levels. While designed principally with adult university students in mind, we hope that this site will become an important resource for students of all ages and backgrounds.
 
Seminars Series
The LWW-CETL seminar series aims to provide a forum for researchers, teachers and students interested in issues raised by the teaching and learning of Languages of the Wider World. The seminars are given by speakers from education, linguistics, distance language learning and applied linguistics who are involved in different aspects of the teaching and researching of these.
